JP Perry Insurance is rapidly approaching its 60th anniversary.JP Perry Jr.founded the agency that bears his name in 1954.JP grew up on a farm in Lake City, FL about an hour from Jacksonville.After a year in Italy in 1945, compliments of the US Army, Sgt Perry attended the University of Florida where he earned a law degree in 1951.After Law School, JP worked in the claims department of Travelers Insurance Company until starting his own agency as a Travelers agent in 1954.JP’s son, Joe, joined the agency in 1975 and Joe’s daughter, Kate, has recently become the 3rd generation to participate in the family business along with a great team of 35 other insurance experts.

Kate Perry has joined JP Perry Insurance, Inc. becoming the 3rd generation to work at the 60 year old family owned agency.Kate got her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and studied at Regents College in London.She was awarded an MBA from Western Carolina University and has worked for Hanover Insurance in Atlanta prior to joining the agency.
