Paul Harris Awards for Jeanie Ingram and Kerri Henderson
Kerri Henderson and Jeanie Ingram were awarded Paul Harris Fellowships by the Rotary Club of San Jose. Kerri is a commercial insurance account executive with J P Perry Insurance that works with local businesses to negotiate the insurance protection they need at the best price. Jeanie is administrative assistant to this blog author and does a wealth of behind the scenes jobs that keep J P Perry Insurance running smoothly for our customers and employees.
They were both honored for their long standing service to the Rotary Club of San Jose and the ideals of Rotary. Although neither are members of the club they have been involved in the fund raising efforts of San Jose Rotary for many years by volunteering at the annual golf tournament and auction. The money raised at this event helps many local charities such as the YMCA, Clarke School for the Deaf, Food Bank, Sulzbacher homeless shelter, Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics, First Coast Dolphin Swim team and many more. Also, through gifts to the Rotary Foundation, projects throughout the world are completed with the supervision of clubs in the Jacksonville region. The Paul Harris Fellowships further these projects because it is a $1,000 or more donation to the Rotary Foundation that allows worthy recipients like Kerri and Jeanie to be honored!
